I was born in Illinois, the Land of Lincoln, and spent most of my years living on the wind-swept plains of the state. 

From my years of travel down Route 66 as a child and my many years of wandering the state on a bicycle, I have heard and seen much of the folklore associated with President Abraham Lincoln. 

I’m not a Lincoln scholar and don’t play one on TV. There are plenty of websites where you can learn all the finer details of what Lincoln accomplished in his life. 

This site is dedicated to providing details about the background of various facets of Lincoln’s life and what I figure he might say today when confronted with the various social situations we confront daily.
